Dr. Daniel Rufus

Dr Rufus is the lead chiropractor at our Bear office.  Dr. Rufus is a 2017 Palmer College of Chiropractic graduate. He completed his undergraduate degree at Saint Ambrose University in Davenport Iowa with a B.S. in Kinesiology. While attending Saint Ambrose he played football and was a part of the track and field team. He competed in the indoor and outdoor national championships 3 years in a row and is still the school record holder in the hammer throw. Since graduating from Palmer Dr. Rufus has really enjoyed working with prenatal and pediatric patients as well as athletic injuries. Having been a competitive athlete his whole life, Dr. Rufus has a comprehensive understanding of how these injuries occur and how to best treat them. His techniques are enhanced by the additional training he has in extremity work. In his free time Dr. Rufus enjoys golfing, playing basketball, being outdoors, working out and spending time with friends and family. Dr. Rufus is excited to work with patients in every phase of life, whether they were just born or have great-grandchildren, and to instill a sense of healthy living in the Bear community.
